Transport Planner/ Engineer

As a Transport Planner and Modeler, you will be involved in working with the team and the delivery of a wide range of microscopic transport modelling, traffic engineering and junction assessment projects, for various high-profile clients. In order for you to fulfil this role you must therefore have a detailed knowledge and experience of using standard modelling packages and recognized transport appraisal techniques.

Demonstrable experience in traffic engineering/microsimulation modelling/junction assessment. Ability to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis, reports and plots from transport models and from transport appraisal packages. Degree qualified, you will have experience as a Transport Planner/Modeler for road and/or public transport studies with the ability to contribute to the success of a range of high profile transport projects. Ability to work both as part of a sophisticated multi-disciplinary team as well as possessing the ability to work independently to solve problems.

Job Qualifications

• Over 1-3 years’ experience with microsimulation, traffic engineering and/or junction modelling. Fundamentals of Transport Planning/Traffic Engineering is necessary.
• Master’s Degree in Transportation Planning/Engineering will be preferred.

Job Qualifications

• B.tech in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of buildings and construction activity. Knowledge of building Municipal Byelaws and measurements (BOQ) is desirable.
• Supervise all construction activities, providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction coordination with site management activities including HSE management. Interact with Site Purchasers and Suppliers for achieving cost.
• Candidate should know the techniques of Quantity Surveying. To prepare, coordinate and monitor the technical and planning requirements of the project with the objective of ensuring progress in meeting targets. To coordinate and liaise with Construction Managers, Site teams, Subcontractors to plan and monitor.
• Experience in drainage/sewerage/water works will be preferred.

Architect/ Urban Designer

The suitable candidate would come with experience of more than 3 years in the field of urban design, bringing sound knowledge of best practices, use of innovative techniques in design of sustainable urban environments.

The candidate will bring competence in carrying out urban design and master planning tasks independently. He/she is expected to be a self-starter with ability to create high quality designs and communicate effectively through graphics and technical writing. The role would involve quick thinking and applying problem solving approach for performing design tasks, coordinating design and construction activities, and conducting research and analyses. Equipped with the necessary experience the candidate will demonstrate meticulous and methodical approach to conduct the following areas of delivery:

• Carrying out layout of plots
• writing and illustrating urban design concepts
• Develop design guidelines
• Bench marking studies for comparable developments
• Understanding of landscape design and ability to formulate overarching landscape strategies.

• Scheduling activities and managing production of deliverables – reports, drawings, and presentations

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture
• Master’s degree in urban design/ planning from a reputed institution will be an added advantage Software skills
• High competency in AutoCAD and Sketchup
• Strong aesthetical judgement and ability to use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge and experience of mapping software such as ArcGIS.

GIS Expert:

You should be at-least graduate in either Geography/Civil Engineering/ Geo Informatics related subjects and have around 5 years of professional experience.

Should be Good at AutoCAD Map, ESRI Arc Map and QGIS. Knowledge of MS Excel will be necessary for performing the role. Database will be an added advantage. Should be able to work on projects involving spatial analysis, model building, map layout preparation, attribute linking etc.
